Tipping is entirely up to you. Use your own discretion as to how much you want to tip a person or party. The following is merely a collection from a variety of sources and articles published overtime on the subject.

Tipping your server!
Refer to the chart below to help determine dollar amounts for 15% or 20% tips, remember to please use your
own discretion as to how much you actually want to tip a person or party. Note, ensure the bill does not already include 'Gratuities' (tips) before making tips, in some countries is listed as 'service compris'.

Note also, in some cases the tips you provide after a meal are shared among multiple services (e.g - companion waiters/waitresses, other restaurant staff such as cook(s), bar tenders, host/hostesses). If you are not sure and are concerned on whether or not the tip is going to be shared, ask the question respectfully with the other persons present if possible, that way you can be sure they were involved when the question was asked, otherwise make separate provisions for those others as you see fit.

Helpful Hint:
To Tip 15%,
multiply the tax by three (3).
E.g - Massachusetts Meal Tax is 5%.
To Tip 20%, leave $1 for every $5 in the check amount.
