More of Tasha's Photos and Summer Poems

July 4th Evening

After the fireworks, fireflies glow on.
Their tiny lights alive for love
As well as pleasure.
After the party is over,
My beloved and I have each other's arms,
And love for one another, at leisure.

Summer in Grafton '97

The town clocks are on vacation
Until September time,
The hands are set for afternoon
The hours do not chime.
In silence will the Summer pass,
With Fall let chimes ring out
It's back to school and back to life
The hands move on about.
Oh Summertime's for resting
A time for having fun
Let heart and soul be merry now
Until vacation's done!
