September

This month may see major changes begin. Prepare by finishing up all old business during retrograde Mercury and be ready to embrace new ways of doing and being. Enjoy! TH

There are two eclipses this month, lots of planetary activity and the Autumnal Equinox on the 23rd. In addition Mercury turns retrograde mid month, Venus turns direct in the first week, and Saturn changes signs for the next two and a half years. Mars moves into Virgo on the 24th, heating up the action for those with Virgo prominent in their horoscopes. This is a busy month for all, and one to be sure to practice mindfulness as Mercury's retrograde motion suggests we slow down and rethink as well as redo what isn't working the way we'd like it to work.

Due to the fact that it turns retrograde on the 17th, Mercury spends the entire month in Libra. The focus here is on relationships, so you may find your life being more involved than usual in communication regarding the family and friends, not to mention other kinds of relationships such as repair people, teachers, and so forth. Relationships from the past may resurface, and of course from the 17th onward be sure to focus on "re" activities such as repairs, restoration, review, and so forth. Avoid unnecessary purchases except for replacements.

Venus remains in Leo during this month, turning direct on the 6th. Our choices and desires may well be influenced by or focused around romance, children, hobbies and gambling. Venus represents that which we desire or eschew, what we are drawn to or repelled by. Venus in Leo can shine the light on the ego and the ways our choices reflect it. The symbol for Venus is a mirror, and our choices are a mirror of who we are. Venus' sign can indicate the framework for those choices. Pluto turns direct the 25th, a powerful day with Mars squaring Saturn

Saturn moves into Sagittarius for a two year plus stay on the 17th. Representing structure and time as well as learning the hard way, Saturn will bring Sagittarians some tests of how well they know what they already know and opportunities to learn what they do not as yet have down pat. Educational and Religious institutions, Social Security, and overseas travel may all be in for some tests of what works and what does not. Those born with that sign prominent in their horoscope may feel pressured to strip down to essentials. There may be lessons to be learned but also rewards for what has already been assimilated.

There are two eclipses this month, the Solar eclipse at the New Moon in Virgo on the 13th and the Lunar eclipse on the 27th in Aries. Eclipses have a way of revealing changes we may not have observed but that have been in the works. Presto change-o, the magician waves his/her wand and suddenly we are looking at a different scene. Perhaps we didn't notice what now stands out or how something else had vanished while we weren't looking. Be prepared for changes this month for sure. The 5th, 8th, 22nd, and 30th are helpful. Be mindful on the 9th, 17th, 24th and 25th.
